INTERNATIONAL FORGING CONFERENCE
29 SENAFOR
The 29 SENAFOR and 13 International Forging Conference took place during the days of 14 to 16th
October 2009 in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
This international event is becoming the “yearly” meeting point for the forgers, suppliers to the industry
and academic researchers.
During
the two days event participants found a unique opportunity to update and exchange information on technical related matters
affecting the forging industry. The event has also become an excellent point for social and business networking among the
participants.
The Conference
is organized by the LdTM (Materials Transformation Laboratory) of the UFRGS (Rio Grande do Sul University) headed by Prof.

Through the years the event has been gaining
recognition reflecting the growing importance of the Brazilian Forging Industry, which struggles to maintain updated its technological
platform while looking for new markets for their forged products.
The next edition is scheduled for the 20th to the 22nd October 2010 so mark
you agenda now in order not to miss your company participation. Forgelube will certainly be present.
